There are many different clinical approaches to Osteopathic Medicine, including Osteopathy in the Cranial Field.

D.O.s are trained to use their hands to diagnose and augment everything else in their medical repertoire. D.O.s have a unique modality to approach treatment, in addition to what other physicians learn, osteopathic treatment.

There are different ways to approach treatment, depending on a physician's training, their palpatory skills (ability to feel), and the state of their patient. These range from an extremely light to a firm touch, gentle or very vigorous treatments.

Whatever the approach, it is tailored to what is happening on a structural level with the patient and their ability to respond.

This section contains descriptions of different approaches, case histories, approach to certain diseases, and general information.
